A happy marriage is the union of two good forgivers.
I kind of have a thing for Him
I am utterly captivated by Aeon. His heart is truly remarkable, and I feel incredibly fortunate and excited to spend every day for the rest of my life with my other half.
I kind of have a thing for Her
Mae means so much to me and I can't believe she is actually going to marry me. I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with her.
There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved.
During the pandemic, fate led me to Mae. I had dreamt about her, and I decided not to waste a moment. We connected online, getting to know each other through messages and calls. As December approached, we eagerly anticipated our first in-person meeting.
The chosen rendezvous point? The bustling SM store, specifically the shoe department. There, amidst rows of footwear, our eyes finally met. Mae hesitated—perhaps unsure if I was the person she was expecting. But then, I approached her, and our first conversation began with a friendly “Hi po” and a fist bump.
We set our sights on Boracay—a paradise of powdery white sands and crystal-clear waters. As we stepped onto the island, the salty breeze enveloped us, and our worries melted away. We swam in azure lagoons, danced barefoot under starlit skies, and shared laughter over seafood feasts by the shore.
In each place, we collected memories—the taste of halo-halo, the sound of waves crashing, the scent of pine needles. And as we traveled, our love story unfolded against the backdrop of these enchanting destinations.
In Tuguegarao, the sun blazes, casting warm hues upon ancient churches and bustling markets. Yet it’s her laughter that truly lights up the streets—the sound of shared secrets and promises.
And then there’s Baguio—the cool mountain retreat. Pine-scented air envelops us as we explore Session Road, sampling strawberry taho and weaving through the night market. At Mines View Park, Mae leans into me, and suddenly, the world shrinks to just us—a love story unfolding against breathtaking backdrops.
Through the highs and lows, we’ve forged a bond that transcends time and extends into eternity. Challenges haven’t broken us; instead, they’ve strengthened our resolve.
When storms arise, we don’t merely weather them—we navigate with empathy and understanding. We seek immediate change when needed, ensuring that our love remains a sanctuary for both hearts. Our commitment isn’t just for today; it’s a promise that echoes across lifetimes.
Our decision to live together is deeply rooted in the sacred principles of temple marriage. When we enter the temple, we step into a realm where time loses its grip, and eternity unfolds. There, we make covenants—binding promises with God—that extend far beyond this mortal existence.
These covenants aren’t merely for today or the next few decades; they are eternal. As we live together, side by side, we strengthen these bonds. Our love becomes a thread woven into the fabric of eternity—a tapestry that connects us not only to each other but also to generations past and those yet to come.
May you live as long as you wish and love as long as you live.
If you have only one smile in you give it to the people you love.
